After almost 10 years of providing connectivity and entertainment to over 3000 commercial airplanes, most of our readers and social media followers are probably quite aware of what we do and the airlines we work with. There is however an equally large part of our company that focuses entirely on business aviation – or private planes as most people will call them.
Gogo Business Aviation does many of the same things we do on the commercial aviation side, just on planes operated for a different group of passengers. These business jets transport everyone from the board of a company to celebrity passengers, VIP’s and others who enjoy the convenience and privacy that comes from flying a private plane.
Another similarity with the commercial aviation side is the need to attend trade events to showcase our products and services. On the commercial aviation side, APEX (North America) and AIX (Europe) are the largest shows, and on the business aviation side, EBACE (for Europe) and NBAA Convention are the the largest.
This year, the NBAA convention is back at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport (for “static” demonstrations with actual aircraft). At this show, exhibitors showcase everything there is to see in the world of business aviation. Exhibitors include aircraft manufacturers, parts companies, engine makers, maintenance and service providers and of course in-flight connectivity and entertainment companies like Gogo.
Gogo is exhibiting inside at our booth, and outside with an aircraft outfitted with Gogo Biz 4G connectivity on our new AVANCE L5 Integrated inflight connectivity and entertainment platform. As always, we’d like to thank everyone at the show who stopped by the Gogo booth.
