Gogo ended the year with 1,296 commercial aircraft installed with satellite in-flight connectivity.  This marks the second consecutive year in which Gogo has installed satellite IFC technology on over 450 aircraft.

Gogo reached a milestone with more than 1,000 aircraft installed and activated with Gogo 2Ku, high-speed satellite Wi-Fi technology. There are approximately 1,000 2Ku aircraft in the backlog.

“The shift of our global installed fleet to satellite IFC technology combined with our 2Ku availability of approximately 98%, continues to improve our customer’s inflight Wi-Fi experience,” said Oakleigh Thorne, President and CEO of Gogo. “I am proud of the dedication and high standard of excellence of our engineering teams in solidifying Gogo as a global leader in satellite IFC technology.”
