Gogo 2ku technology is bringing incredible speeds to aircraft around the world. These airlines include American, AeroMexico, British Airways, Delta and more. With over 1300 aircraft committed to this new technology, we need to produce a huge among of equipment to install. In the video above, you’ll see Gogo partner Thinkom produce some this equipment.
Once built, the equipment is shipped to Gogo’s fabrication and warehousing facility just outside O’Hare airport in Chicago. It is then mated with the rest of the equipment required for a full 2Ku installation, including the composite radome, mounting plate and installation gear. Once inspected and crated, it is sent to airline facilities around the world for installation on an airplane.
